Does Geezer Butler have the blueprint for doom/stoner metal bass tone?

Doom/stoner music is what I'm playing right now and play an Ibanez JTK and a Reverend XL through an Fender Bassman 135 and matching 2x15. I love the way it sounds and think it makes for good tone for this sort of music, but don't have much experience with anything else... What do you guys use to get the job done?

Be sure to pluck the notes up by the neck (or on the neck and fretboard,) not down by the bridge. That's a big part of his sound.

A Fender Precision does the job perfectly. No effects.
