First line of his I heard was "She Caught the Katy" from the Blues Brothers. Great line!

As I got older, I went back into the Stax stuff. Our band plays alot of 60's soul, and it's nice to cover his lines.

I agree with the slight difference that I love them BOTH.

I was raised in Pittsburgh in the 60's and I guess I'd say we were a little more of a Motown kinda town in those days. My appreciation of STAX came a little later in life as I got bit by the Blues bug.

We are lucky to have both musical legacies...

I been gone for a while, had issues getting my password and such back and been busy, and has been a while but i would like to say, May Donald Duck Dunn Rest in peace, he is missed and his legacy will always be remembered.
