I saw Mike Watt and Kira Roessler doing their "Dos" thing last night. Wow! What an amazing sonic experience. In the right hands, the bass can do really amazing things.

Awesome... the recording on the talkbass sampler is decent... but I would much rather see Dos live.

Wow, what a cool experience that must have been!
Listening to the Dos albums is fascinating. It's fun hearing dual bass versions of what would become fIREHOSE songs, and it underlines yet again just how essential Watt's bass is.
