Just listened to my old Camel album (The Snow Goose) again after a looong period of having a break from 70s prog rock, and I must say - wow.
Doug's basslines are incredibly groovy, musical and IMO the biggest driving force behind the lush dreamy guitars, keyboards and all the arrangements.
Fantastic band all around!
I can see why I loved it a couple of years ago, and am glad to discover the incredibly melodic basslines on it all over again.

Definitely a cool progressive groove to his work. I always loved Moonmadness.
