| Envelope phasing. Its an old effect but the older hardware units didnt sound as clear.
Could be the pigtronix, but I never messed with one. Guitarist is using a everyday univibe, which those sound sooo good on a bass.
Also, he has massive amounts of compression and he also fuzzed his tone just a tad in one part of his solo, twards the end, for like 3 or 4 notes about.
Polyphase and similar clones get close, but to really copy or get beyond that sound, you need something like a bi-phase with a mutron built in that reacts to dynamics.
Oh, and mix in a talkbox, or a talkbox plugin.
