I finally got my hands on some blues brothers stuff for the first time in years, and I've just kind of noticed.....DUCK DUNN IS A BEAST! He's playing some sick lines on stuff like "Going Back to Miami" and "Soul Man". The guy's awesome. I think I'm going to get some more Blues Bros.......

| | | | If I'm not mistaken he also played on the live cuts on "Fathers and Sons" with Muddy, Bloomfield, Butterfield, et al.
I know he's played on a lot of singles by assorted artists, but a short list of full length albums he's played on would be appreciated.

Go to the source indeed. If you can swing it, start with the Complete Stax/Volt Singles Vol 1 collection. http://www.amazon.com/Stax-Volt-Comp...ref=pd_sim_m_2
Some of the finest music ever recorded. The MGs just rule. |

Can any one tell me the name? Want to learn it.

However, I have to say that the Blues Brothers band Belushi and Ackroyd put together is just ridiculously good. The live one, Briefcase Full of Blues, shows how crazy-tight they were.
