I saw a couple of videos of him playing and his fretting hand technique looked really off, reminded me of this lazy kid I used to give bass lessons to who wouldn't practice one finger per fret if his life depended on it.

He's speaking at the church I play in on Nov. 1. That's my week off, so I'll have to ask if he sits in.

On one of his talk/news shows, he's getting ready to play with his "Little Rockers" band and mentions he owns several basses, but the one he uses the most on the show is a Tobias.

I just love the fact that he is a major political figure and he is rockin down. Who cares whether or not he appears to "get into it" as some may have pointed out. He's bustin it out and can identify with true performing musicians. These videos may have just renewed my faith in the political system since I've now seen one human being among all the "borg". Wait, scratch that. I'm still a jaded skeptic on the whole political thing, but my respect and appreciation for the Huck just went way up. Plus, in the vid where he appears to refer to a cheat sheet, I really think it is cool that he isn't so arrogant that he won't get up and perform even when he knows his performance won't be perfection. No "lip synching" for this man.

Well played, Mr. Huckabee!
