Music Man StingRay (with Guns 'N' Roses)

Mid-80's Fender Jazz Bass Special with Seymour Duncan Hot Stack Pickups (Velvet Revolver)

Duesenberg Hollowbody Bass

Fender Aerodyne Basses

-Gallien-Krueger RBH 4X10 Cabinets
- Gallien-Krueger 400RB Head
- Gallien-Krueger 800RB Head

- Two Gallien-Krueger RBH 4X10 Cabinets

He also plays Fender Aerodyne Jazz's. Has two for live play.

In the tech interview they say at least two of the bass' are custom shop, maybe all of them except the original that he doesn't bring on tour.

Duff's first Fender has an asymmetrical neck, on that model, it was a mistake, but he didn't know it was like this at the time, eventually he went to get another bass, and none felt right. So they scanned his, and found the neck to be asymmetrical, so now all his necks have to be carved custom to suit him, other than that they should be pretty much stock.

He only used the stingray for a short period of time, his main bass with Guns has always been the fender jazz special. Also, he has been seen playing a Les paul bass-guitar here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXshn7UllSc

He also uses a Yamaha SPX 90 II multi-effects rack unit for chorus, maybe this is what he used for delay too?

There's some good info and pics here regarding his set up - http://www.duffmckagans-rawpower.com/equipment.php
