As far as his stint with JA, I never understood that pairing - I guess they just wanted the name recognition - Duff fits in with them like a square peg in a round hole. What`s next ? Him joining Slayer if Araya leaves ? AHAHAHA ! Seriously though, I like him. He`s not the greatest, of course, but he`s good at what he does. Even if "what he does" isn`t very inventive or imaginative. My opinion of Duff got a big boost within the last year when I picked up his side band "Loaded" disc. He did the writing, rhythm guitar, and vocals on it...and it`s quite good, actually. His bassist is phenomenal, too ; ironically HE would be a great fit in Jane`s. And mtshark`s request for more VR - after hearing Duff`s album, they should just put him out front and go with it. He`s no Weiland, but he`s not bad either. I, for one, am glad to see the Loaded project is prepping another disc.
