I really started following Ian and Ivan after catching them with Hendrix-Cousins ( http://www.hendrixcousins.com/ )

Here are a few choice tracks...

http://youtube.com/watch?v=g0tC3siCJI0
http://youtube.com/watch?v=uHJBxAZHFKI
http://youtube.com/watch?v=MZM6AmzBxxM
and a little Meters cover action...
http://youtube.com/watch?v=RWoTyY2Mts0

FYI to those that aren't in the know... Ian is Art's kid and Ivan is Aaron's

Saw Dumpstaphunk this Summer. One of the most satisfying shows I've seen in many years

I listened to all there tracks on their myspace and thought, "man it sounds like there's a couple bass tracks on all these tunes." I linked out to their website and sure enough two dudes play bass for the band.

Does anyone know if they perform live with two bassists?

They'll be down here in SFLA this October and I just might have to go check em out.

Anybody see the excellent HBO series Treme? Dumpstaphunk was on it along many other N.O. musical greats!
