MoBeach, me too! I live in Sandwich and saw that Belew show last week. Julie stole the show as far as I'm concerned (not that Adrian wasn't perfect but I just love to watch the bassist no matter what). Loved her Lakland and her awesome chops using multiple playing styles. Fantastic!!

I've seen Julie Slick perform with the Power Trio twice now, first time in 2008 at the Quebec City summer festival and not even a week ago in Quebec again at the Petit Champlain Theatre. I cannot fully express the inspiration she's provided for my bass playing, especially with the release of e and witnessing it live. Keep on rocking, Julie!
