Tennessee is such a wide state, everything is divided into west, middle and east. Because just about all of us on this end of the state would have no intention of driving from here to Memphis for a GTG and not too much inclination of driving to Nashville normally, we need a East Tennessee Talkbass thread. Here it is!

With regard to your comment on the Tennessee Talkbass thread, did you get the orange bass yet? |

Actually, our singer was the first to quit (no time---family first reasons)... then he came back ... then our guitarist's wife had their 2nd baby (2 in diapers at same time, UGHH!) plus he has a house to remodel and move into... so he quit , then the singer and I decided that the hard rock original band thing wasn't gonna get us anywhere, and we decided to do a mostly cover band. Well, the drummer doesn't like covers, so he quit after a few weeks... glad he's gone honestly! We're still friends, but he was always "the one" who didn't agree w/ the other 3 in the band.
So, now we have a young lefty CHICK guitarist and we're trying out drummers and lead guitarists.... and I finally get to play funk and do wild 5H!T w/ my pedals.
So, be on the lookout for my/our new band (yet to be named) that will take K-town by storm!! LOL

I ordered a JAE Custom with an orange finish! It should be here in July. |

Ha Ha! Actually, I did. It's an OLP Tony Levin 5. When my band plays at a car show, I take the truck and put the OLP on a stand beside it before and after we play. I actually really like playing the OLP, but for some reason I don't like the way it sounds through my rig. It kills DI'd though.

Hell, I'd even host the gear "swingers" GTG... you know .... where everybody "gets to know" somebody else's gear... hahaaa.. but I've never been to a swingers gtg before nope I sure haven't!!

My band is playing a "Live Band Karaoke" there that's always a blast. That way, we could get you up on stage. For TB brothers, you could even sit in for a song on my bass and rig (taking the ADJV only).
