Ed,

I just want to take a moment to tell you that I really appreciate your gear reviews, articles, books, web sites, and posts here on TB. Thank you for going out of your way to post your videos on YouTube. I always look forward to them, and I love the consistency with which you demonstrate the gear. Your methodology makes it straightforward to compare A with B with C...and your humor is the icing on the cake...even my wife thinks your videos are funny (when you intend them to be funny...of course )!

I am certain that many on TB feel much the same as I do. Just thought it might be nice for you to know that you are respected and admired.

God bless you,
Bryan

Cheers for a well-deserved tribute thread. Ed is a great asset to the bass-playing community. I need to start checking out his books, too.

I personally want to blame Ed because now I have rediscovered the P bass (fender am std 5) and I'm digging it. Thanks Ed, and good job on the reviews. Laid back and unserious too, which is cool.

Didn't you get the memo? It's actually the amp he uses that does that.

Please don't do the Combustion, it'll only make me want one

This is what happened with the G&L L2000 Tribute, what a thorough review!
