This sounds sketchy. I'm thinking she might just be a guest for a few dates, but I would love to see it!

Looks like a mini-festival, where he's going to be the MC for Esperanza and other artists, then play with his band.
Sounds cool.

i heard prince hired ida funkhouser to play in his band. sounds like esperanza will be a solo act opening.

Esperanza is coming to a very small jazz club in Detroit in March. Should be fun seeing her there... the place only seats about 50 people.

Tough duty being a 'jazz artist' these days.

That tour sounds pretty spectacular-Maceo, Mint Condition, etc. I am so happy for Esperanza. 3 years ago I was booking her on jazz duos playing Christmas jazz at a guy's house, now she's going out with Prince. We aren't friends or anything,but I'm proud to see her doing so well.

I've seen Prince 4 times over the years from Purple Rain to Musicology. With that talent line up I will gladly shell out for #5!
