I've been in touch with this guy some, he played bass with Reflux (Tosin Abasi from Animals as Leaders) and is now doing solo stuff apparently. I'd be interested to hear if he can play anything else (a lot of people like this are ONLY good at one thing) -- but he's got this part down, that's for sure. Check it out:

Sounds great! Not many implement slap outside of funk, r&b, fusion and similar genres that well but this guy does an awesome job. Not a fan of much solo bass stuff but that was pretty cool. I guess he'd have to be some kinda sick to keep up with Tosin
