Ever hear of This Guy?

He sells some products on eBay. he also has some "commercials" on his web site for his products. Anyone ever use any of his stuff, like his "FunkyChops" method?

He seems like an all around nice guy, and an awesome bass player... but I've never used any of his products, so I couldn't say how good they'd be.

IIRC he has an account here on Talkbass?

I got his funky chops product. At first the cd was shipped with a crack, probably due to shipping, but was promptly replaced.

I'm a beginner in slapping so I was comfortable just watching the hands and comparing the sound. I'm still beginning on it but it seems OK for me. I go for the feel as he advised instead of verbatim copy of the licks, which is what I apply to my actual playing.

Also, he answers some of my technique questions in email every now and then, which is cool.

funkychops cd has about ~100 <10sec riffs. no real method.
