Fabio Fecchio (Ephel Duath)

i think this guy is incredibly underappreciated, but i suppose its the same for the band. well, it all depends if your into avant garde jazz metal really.
either way, as a bassist, Fabio Fecchio is amazing, his technique is varied and innovative and i really hope he gets some more recognition for it in future
if you want to check him out then both 'the painters pallete' and 'pain necessary to know' by ephel duath are worth giving a listen

Saw these guys support Dillinger Escape Plan in London back in late 2004, think it was the day after Dimebag was killed. From what I can remember he was pretty, immense, had a 4 or 5 string white stingray. I remember them all being very hairy and blowing my mind, especially after a good evening's worth drinking...

He turned the cheese knob on his bass way too far up, but that band is actually pretty cool.

What does that mean?

I never got "Pain...", but Painter's Palette is great.

jazz metal isnt so rare actually-if its your first time experiencing ephel duath then id recommend 'the painters pallette' since 'pain necessary to know' is very avant garde, but if you like avant garde jazz then i would strongly recommend it!
