Just curious as to which famous bassists you think would impress even the hardest core Talkbass Classifieds-lurking TBers with their GAS inspired buying/selling.
Also, what basses have the bassists in question been seen playing?
I can't think of many, but John Entwhistle was definitely at the top of the list in his heyday.

Some players players like Lee Sklar and Chuck Rainey, have seemingly supplemented their incomes through endorsements.
