I forgot about this thread..

Anyway, my son started on doublebass in the fifth grade orchestra two years ago and is doing well.

I haven't tried to push my electrics on him, and he hasn't asked to play them. I think it's probably better for him to just play on the doublebass for now, plenty of time for electrics later. He's got a great teacher too.

So you can count us in.
