Gerry Hubbard is pictured on the back and in the credits (he was also in the Purple Rain version of The Time). After speaking with Mark Cardenas (keyboards) it seems like Jesse had a serious "want to be Prince" thing happening (playing everything). So maybe it was Jesse or maybe it was Gerry. It's a good bassline regardless. I really like that record by they way. I wonder if they ever played live outside of Minnesota.
