Check out a girl named Kim Nielsen-Parsons of a band called Phantom Blue. http://www.myspace.com/kimnielsenparsons She was a friend of mine back in the 80's (I've recently gotten back in touch with her). She is without a doubt one of the best bassists, male OR female, that I have ever known. I wouldn't necessarily say she's famous, but she has definitely enjoyed her share of success in this business. Something that you may not hear when you look into her music is the fact that she is an incredible funk bassist as well.

I think the OP may not have English as first language, so let's not dive in and be too critical.

Are we doing this thread again? I am pretty sure there are already four of them open. I'm not like a "YOU NEED TO DO A SEARCH" kind of guy, but this trend is interesting I guess.
