I have recently made some amazing discoveries of some really great Jazz bass guitar players and just wanted to see if there is anyone I am missing.
I play both 4 and 5 string and also upright, but I must say that my somewhat modified 65 pbass (sacrilege I know) is by far my favorite and the instrument that I am most comfortable with.
Anyhow I have been listening to:
Jeff Andrews
Jeff Berlin
Avishai Cohan
Steve Swallow
Any others out there? (past or present) |

(just kidding)
Of course he is at the top of my list. I have just thought of another one - Jack Bruce. |

Oh, Bunny plays a 5'er. Oh well, worth a listen anyway. |

One of my favorite CDs - Gadd is putting on a *clinic* on that one, too!
