if memory serves.... I think Sting has mentioned in a few articles that he only got that bass earlier that day, and that this show was his first try at playing fretless.

Sting is definitely having problems intonating and the guitarist is struggling as well...but they pull it off just the same.

Actually it sounds better the first time than at the 2007 Police Reunion. Major screw-ups.
