The Fisherman Bassist's Club!!

Sign in to disble this ad
So, I look on here and see many many clubs that are dedicated to virtually any type of bassist; jazz, metal, P&W, atheist, naked, vegatarians etc.

So I thought why not have a club for those who have another hobby in their life, where bass may no longer be the hobby, but rather the targeted species??

Let us know what species you usually target and what your absolute favourite forms of fishing are (fly fishing, lure fishing, gamefishing etc).

So whether you like to just wet a line from time to time, have been fishing for longer than you have played bass, or like me and absolutely dedicated to the sport, raise your hand and I shall assign you a number.

Being such a new member, I hope this doesn't step on anyone's toes to make another club!

Cheers fellow fisherman!
Jordan

I lived on Martha's Vineyard for 22 years.

Fishing was one of my joys.

Just moved to N. Ca. I miss the ocean.

In. Been bass fishing since I was about ten. Recently discovered trout fishing in some wonderful local creeks. Definitely more of a lure user, as I like to feel more a part of the "game". Also started saltwater fishing (fluke, seabass) on my yearly trips to the Jersey Shore. Started my son on the trout fishing three years ago. When he was four.

Im in. I didn't really get into fishing until last summer when I went with my girlfriend and her family to Hatteras, NC. I fell in love with fishing on the beach. Went again this summer and started lure fishing and caught some decent sized fish. Too bad the hurricane made us leave unnecesarily...

Fishing is the absolute bee's knees. I fish virtually every day here in KY. I don't want a club number though.

What kind of rigs do you guys have? I'm a Pflueger/Carrot Stix fan for life.

I use everything from tiny nymphs and larva to large tube streamers, and from a 8ft 3wt Loomis to a 14'6" Loop GASS twohander... several sticks in between. Bass playing puts food in the table, but flyfishing is an equally intense passion for me.

Count me in! My favorite passions in life are bass (wood with strings type) and bass (smallmouthed bronze football type). Heading up to northern MN this Saturday to chase them around for a week.

Just thinking .... could a bass with a really small neck double as a heavy fishing rod? Could I mount a pickup and some strings on a heavy Muskie rod? Maybe a couple projects for the winter!

Bass (striped) is the my favorite here around the shores of Long Island. Saltwater fisherman for life here, whatever season is open - tuna, shark, bass, bluefish, blackfish, weakfish, fluke, flounder, black sea bass, porgies-- They all taste good!!!

sure thing audiophile21, you are #10

forgot to mention my preferred fishing styles - personally, I am a gamefisherman. Nothing I love more than being 40 miles out to sea targetting marlin, tuna, dorado and sharks.

Cheers,
Jordan
