Flea with Atoms for Peace

Hey all,

Last Saturday (April 10th) I got to go to Chicago and see Thom Yorke's new band Atoms for Peace.

IT WAS AWESOME.

Best show I have ever seen and probably will ever see. I was doubtful how Flea would mesh with the rest of the group, but he did AMAZING. He played the crap out of a vintage Fender P-Bass and he even played a Hofner violin bass for the song "Atoms for Peace."

The only bad thing about the show: Flea's Flea bass. He played it for the song Harrowdown Hill and for their last two songs which I had never heard. The tone was AWFUL! It was so dead and styrofoam sounding.

But Thom Yorke was amazing and so was the rest of the band.

Which "flea bass" did he play? The new cheap-o from China or the older Modulus version?

Who's Tortoise?

Atoms for Peace was amazing. It was one of the most influential nights of my life.
