I just posted something similar to this in a different thread, but bassists is more where it belongs (not trying to crosspost just giving this a proper place for discussion.) Flea just played one of his basses during an awkward star-spangled banner w/ Josh Grobin. Personally I wish he had brought one of his trumpets instead and played with the fine brass section standing behind him, which could have done away with Grobin all together...
