My buddy sent me this link, for some reason... Flea must've been sitting in on one of their rehearsals. Kinda cool - not something you'd see everyday, I guess.
Here's one for all of you Flea & Trujillo fans out there:

Looks like Flea was playing an octave higher than trujillo most of the song, but you couldn't hear it because of the previous mentioned sucky audioquality. |

reminds me of high school girls making fun of other girls, mainly out of jealousy
regardless of what you think of his style of music, he's done what we all would like to do: play bass for a living
it's like people saying justin timberlake or clay aiken suck...you know, i don't like their style of music (as you can tell from my s/n i'm into good ol' rock 'n roll), but i won't say they suck, b/c they don't...
and even if it's just making a middle class income, or being famous, he's done it, and alot of you have not
if you say he's not that good and he's over rated, check out his sessions video, the one that has chad smith on the drums, i guarantee he can out play 99.9999999999% of you
and yes, that's including me
easily...so, even if you think rhcp suck, would you be there bassist? hell, i'd be the bassist for the new kids on the block if they reunited and wanted me to play for them...celine dion, any of them...maybe one day i will, and you all can say i suck while you're wife, kids, or friends buy the cd of this "suckie" bassist and help pay my bills so i won't ever have to have a 9 to 5 job that i'll hate, which i'm sure most of you hate yours. |

| Whoa...stop there. He was in Lebowski?
That said, I made a joke last week about Flea and the new album
"Sell your soul to me.
Now meet our new bassist
Flea!"
*Bad slap bass impersonation.*
And today he found this on the internet.
I love his work with the Chilis, very talented player.
