Former Oasis Bassist "Guigsy"

I know, not much of a mention here, but I was always & still am a big Oasis Fan & since this is Talk Bass what info if any as anybody have on former Oasis Bassist Paul "Guigsy" McGuigan . Pics? Info? Like his bass playing? Fender Basses? Oasis Basslines? Did he play Bass on the first 3 Oasis Albums?

he was their bassist until 99 I think, when he quit to do god knows what. I never really could tell how talented a player he was, the bass is buried so deep in most Oasis tracks that it's nearly impossible to hear. What you can hear is usually pretty simple, usually just following guitar chords and stuff, not all that inspiring if you ask me. Believe he played Fender Precision and Jazz for most of his time with the band

Yeah I 've seen him with a few diffrent fenders, I like the Fender Telecaster Basses he often used. Some say Noel played Bass on the early albums?

Seemed like he ended every song with that slide up from the 5th to the octave.
