Unfortunately Taiji's staff have announced on his blog that he has re-injured his leg and neck in a bad accident and has been taken, his condition is critical but stable, no updates on his condition as yet.

I found out on the Bring X to Europe Myspace, That is such a shame, just as soon he was set to back back to playing bass live again with Cloud Nine and DTR, Get well Taiji!

Yeah, not very epic IMO... Sounds like he always wanted to be a guitarist but nobody let him to play it. It would've been a lot better if he'd tap a lot better, that sounded more like 15-year old heavy guitard in a music store. Not impressed.

Well, I guess it's still polite to hope that he will get well soon.

Hope he gets better again, and I'd love to see him back in X japan!

I thought it was hysterical that they managed to combine the two major "looks" of late 80's hair metal: the makeup-ed out pretty boy thing and the leather-and-whiskey hard stance.
Anyway, let not his past transgressions be his future condemnations. get well soon, Taiji.

Good news, Taiji has began communicating again, he's still unable to talk but he's writing down on a whiteboard/notepad and has been moved out of ICU.

He is actually a very solid slap player as well, he's a big Larry Graham fan, and is known for his excellent rhythm in songs, Phantom of Guilt for instance.
