I remember seeing Frank It doing a demo back in the early 90s. He was quite a player, but I haven't heard sight or sounds since then.

Anyone ever heard of him or what he may be doing these days?

Hi,
How come you know Frank It? He used to play a lot with a pretty famous Dutch piano player, Jasper van't Hof in the 90s. Don't know if he's still involved in his projects. Apart from that, he's the touring bassist for a very popular "Schlager" singer, which could be discribed as the German Engelbert (or something like that).

He started producing a couple of years ago, wrote a book on slapstyle, is doing some mixing for other bands and projects and is involved in all kinds of Yamaha workshops and demos, e.g. Frankfurt Musikmesse.

But, yes, he "disapeared" a bit.

Thanks for that Caligula!

I met Frank when I was living in Scotland early 90s (maybe late 80s). He was doing a 'tutorial' at a guitar shop in Glasgow (Sound Control) and from what I remember he was a great slapper - he taught me how to double and triple pop!
