Geddy...Inspiring

Saw Rush last night in Southern California, at Verizon Amphitheatre...WOW, so inspiring as a musician/bassplayer. Geddy was mindblowing as always, and it was great to see that they all seem to be having a great time. Once the FOH dialed in the sound about halfway through the second song, the bass tone was killer. If your on the fence about going to see them this year DO IT! Geddy seemed to be really focused on his bass playing, and digging in.

I'm lucky, my guitar player has access to season tickets, orchestra, right in the middle, and he pulled the trigger right when the show was announced. When we were kids we used to sneak in there for every show. I must have seen every band in the late eighties, early nineties that played there for free, so I don't mind paying now.

I grew up in Irvine and have seen dozens of "free" shows at Meadows during those same years! I went to Rush and we were talking about all the different paths to sneak in. Great show, they haven't slowed down a bit.

Irvine High class of '91.

I saw them at Shoreline (Bay Area) and they were profoundly good. Certainly the best Rush show I've ever seen, but also one of the best stadium rock shows ever. Amazing live sound and the band is as amazing as ever.

Man I wanted to see them on this tour and their coming in September but all the tickets are already sold out. Ever since I've seen their live dvd it's only made me want to see them more.
