Geddy Lee in ESPN Commercial

Sign in to disble this ad
Who else has seen it??? Geddy at the end of the ESPN commercial for "ESPN Fantasy Baseball League" I thought the commercial was pretty funny to start with John Kruk in Leather and Peter Gammons sportin the Johnny Winter look, guitar and all, then to see Geddy at the end doing the vocals was just too cool.

Seems fitting, as Geddy is such a Baseball addict and participant in Fantasy Baseball leagues.

I saw and laughed at Geddy's cameo. Then I smiled to myself, knowing full well how much of a dork I am. At least no one was around...heh.

That's awesome, Rush + Geddy have made some serious cameos (or at least been mentioned) lately, especially with adult swim.

I can't say that his voice isn't blown though. I actually like his vocals on the early stuff, but all those high notes took a toll on his voice.

Anybody else think, based on the style of the song, that Jack Black should have been in there somewhere?

Ha! You remember more of it than I do. I don't think I've heard it since High School (1983?).

You know, I've never made it through that whole movie in one sitting, but that's the best part.

I saw the piece too. I knew John Kruk wasn't singing that high.

Bob McKenzie: Do you have the lyric sheet?

Geddy: Oh, yeah.

Bob: okay.

Geddy: I memorized them.

Bob: Oh, great, beauty.

Doug McKenzie: How did you do that so fast?

Geddy: I'm a professional, eh.

Gotta love Geddy's sense of humor! Have you checked out his animated interviews on the Rush site? He get's interviewed by his cartoon dog.......
