| Geddy Lee question about his ashly BP41 preamp back in the day

Just curious, what years was Geddy using an Ashly BP41 pre amp? I thought I read somewhere that he used that for his tone from perm waves all the way to Roll the Bones. At that time of Counterparts switching to direct box/avalon U5 , then later proceeding into the Tech 21 preamps.
I know he used different basses and cabinets along the way through those years, but thought his pre amp remaind the same running that into a set of crown power amps. |
