Geezer Live!

I went to see Ozzfest on the 6th and it was bitchin.I was on the lawn and didn't get a good look at the stage and I couldn't tell how Geezer was playing. Does he play chords live? Also how can I get his tone?

hey. i saw black sabbath on the 20th of june this year in Vienna/Austria (support: Velvet Revolver & Black Label Society).
I was in the 5th row, in front of geezer.
His playing and his sound was amazing.
to your question: I didn't see him playing chords.
He played nearly everything with finger but he took a pick for the last part of Iron Man and for Children of the Grave.
If you're looking for his tone: Now he plays a Lakland bass through a SVT II and a lot of different Ampeg cabs.

hey terrorstorm did you happen to see if he used any pedals or effects like a wah pedal or something? and he play NIB by any chance?

Didn't see or hear any effects.
They played N.I.B. (it was the first song of the set) but Geezer didn't play the intro.
but it was great anyhow.
