Gene Simmons' Most Embarrassing Moment

Sign in to disble this ad
I love Gene and Kiss. But this is downright hilarious. He seems stunned when he realizes what happened.

Apparently the chick he's licking is a big Kiss groupie with whom Gene is quite familiar.

My apologies if this has been posted here before.

Should it be called Gene Simmons' best lick?

Was the sound timing off or was there a bass backing track playing?

Dont think there is a backing lol You can clearly hear him trying to salvage a note as he stumbles to his feet.

...I met him. He's a real jerk. It's appropriate that it happened during Shock Me. Hahaha!

Youtube videos are known for having sync problems. That would be my guess.

That is why I stopped wearing 6 inch platform shoes back in the early 80s. Too hard to walk around on stage. And, I used to drive a stick shift Mustang wearing them. Everytime I would push the clutch, my knee would hit the steering wheel.

I don't know what was so embarrassing about Gene in those.
Ace was hillarious and the entire interview was pretty much like hanging with friends. Sure, Gene wanted to slap Ace a few times to make him shut up, but that was great.
Thanks for posting those clips.
Better than your average KISS interview.

I always thought Gene's most embarrassing moment ran from 1974-present...

He DID play that note . . . you can see him (at 1:08), while he's still on one knee, pick that note . . .

There's a cool video of him playing 100,000 Years at an Unplugged Konvention. Apparently, to the chagrin of many of you, Gene is capable of being a real musician without makeup and high heels......

Who would've guessed???
