Well I'm not sure if this has been posted about before but I haven't seen any posts and thought I'd let you Pa TBers who may not know about this so....my brother (a drummer, reconized him from when we went to go see Victor Wooten!) was watching T.V. and he seen an add for Gerald Veasley's Jazz Base. As far as I can tell he has a Sheraton spot rented out every thursday night to bring in some big jazz musicians. Sounds like a lot of fun and I know I'll be going there at least a couple times this summer. BTW it's a Sheraton in Reading, Pa. so this is for all you Pennsylvanian TBers out there

Hmm, I guess I'm not the only guy who runs out of ideas early sometimes and ends up playing a solo about 1/3 too long...

Just a comment, sir. I generally like Veasley's playing, but that clip sounds like one lick, embellishment on that lick, then a blank space. It's not the best of him I have seen. You might love it, and that's OK with me.

I do think the Ibanez sounds nice in the clip.

I've played at the Jazz Base a couple of times with my band. It's a really nice place to play.

I've been to the Jazz Base once back in '06 during GV's Bass Bootcamp. It was a swingin' spot!
