Good Times "LIVE" Tokyo, one day before Bernard passes away..

This is really one of those live performances that sound better then what is recorded. Bernard solo is Great! This apparently was his last performance before his passing the next day.

Bernard is my favorite bassist of all time even if I do tend to sound like a third rate Marcus Miller fan when I am goofing around slapping. Bernard is so scrawny in that clip! Although it was a brilliant performance, I wish he had gone to a hospital because he might still be alive blessing us with his music today.

I have to hurry up and renew my status on TB so I can post my Bernard Edwards avatar again!

I don't hear it. Groove feels good to me.
And amazing how good the groove is, considering how sick Bernard was. Make that ill, he was sick in the best way as a bass player.
