I've been entranced by Mike since '93, hearing Ice for the first time at my buddys campout in 7th grade made me want to start playing bass(along with a lot of Primus and RHCP). Unfortuneatly, drugs and shows led to me dropping out of playing in '95, but I picked up bass again about 2 years ago and lovin it!

| | | How do you get in? Mike is definitely one of my main influences. Seen the boys well over 100 times beginning at Stabler Arena (Lehigh) in Oct. of 1994. I am the proud owner of (3) Q5 Modulus basses with my newest being a custom TBX. Attached are pics of my new guy.
Been a registered member of Talk Bass for a little while, but not quite sure how to bump around

| | | Sorry...even though I've been a member for a few years, I rarely get to come on here and cruise...So, my lack of skill navigating may hinder my ability
This is from Evan @ Bassnorthwest: "Hi John, I wanted to let you know that your new Modulus TBX 5 bass is on it's wayto my store. I spoke with Anderson at Modulus and he said that your bassis even nicer than one they just recently completed for Phil Lesh."

| | | | Love Mike Gordon. Been a Phish Phan since 93. I also play a Modulus Q5. I look at Phish as more than just a jam band. They have great songs and they write some very complex arrangements that most jam bands couldn't even come close to playing. I think Phish is the best rock n' roll band of this era. |

| | | | The Phish song that really got me phreakin' on Phish is "You Enjoy Myself." They played it the first time I saw them in 93 at the Wiltern in L.A. |

When I'm 100% done it'll include a super clean DI and I'll probably rack up my amp and EQ just 'cause!
