Just wondering if anyone knew what bass(es) Graham Maby used in the 80s - particulary the 'Look Sharp' album. I thought I saw him with a WAL later on. Thanks!

For Look Sharp he used an Ibanez Roadstar P bass copy with a P-J pickup configuration and black nylon tapewound strings. Since the late 80s he's been using Spector 5-string basses almost exclusively, one red one being his favorite. He also seems to be using a nice 4 string Lakland lately. Not sure the model.

I think the Lakland is a Joe Osborn model. when the Joe Jackson band were on Later he had this with black tapewounds.

When I saw Graham, he played his red Specter 5, and a 60's P-bass.
