Joe used only the front pickup. Lots of threads about Joe on TB. Oh -- might be an Audiovox bass, but I'm not sure.

Midnight Confession is listed in 1968, a #5 hit.
Guess it doesn't matter, and I'm not sure if her claim to having played several of Motown's most famous basslines has ever been definitively settled.
