Great Unsung Bassist: Keni Burke

Sign in to disble this ad
Now that it's summertime, it's time to pull out a serious smooth jazz/quiet storm classic, Changes by Keni Burke. Keni Burke was an early discipile of Larry Graham and played with The Five Stairsteps (OH Child) and The Invisible Man's Band. His solo albums were seriously underrated, and changes features perfect Jazz Bass tone like this cut:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdcTxMWx-J4

"Keep Rising..." is still one of my favorite basslines to play.
