Groove Collective - Jonathan Maron

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys, I'm doing a Groove Collective bass transcription book for my dissertation (almost finished degree!) but I need some more info from you bass players who are in the know! I've only got 2 responses to it so far, and one of them is me! I know there are some guys on here that are into Maron's playing (and if you're not you should be, he's got ultimate groove).

If you could fill out this questionnaire for me I'd be eternally grateful, it's only 10 questions but would really help me out

Cheers,

Tom

Filled out. Good luck with everything. Jonathan Moran has a heavy groove.

I just did it too. Big Groove Collective fan.

I think your survey needs some polishing. There are some (*) asterisks that do not indicated anything (numbers 1 and 4), and if question #4 is "no" then you should tell the person to stop with the rest of the survey. . .

great idea! just filled it out.
i love how jonathan has played cheap-o basses for practically forever. the sound really is in the fingers!
a cd of recorded tracks would be essential; just like jamerson there's a feel happening you just can't get from notation.
