Getting to see and hear and meet him at the Chicago GTG too was really cool. That's the first thought I had too, he has more chops in one hand than most of us in two. It's too bad the vids from Chicago didn't come out apparently, he was absolutely shredding and what he did blows away the first posted vid.

You can tell he really loves to play... As anyone there can tell you, it's hard to get him to stop!

Cool guy... Hi Jauqo

I must admit his style is not totaly my cup of tea either, and I don't really enjoy LISTENING to his playing for long periods. But I SAW him in Detroit at LDS and to see him live is so cool. He does groe in the repetitive Jaco-Gary Willis style and that parts cool, I just like more melody in my music. Having said that, I would go see him again in a heartbeat. And I have nothing but admiration for the effort he put in to deeloping that style.

Except form the slow, chorded break down part. Thats from one of his songs on his cd. I mean, the little fills he does inbetween the "daa daaahh duhh" are improv. Or atleast on the video they were, cause the song its a little different.

I loved what he was playing, and the fact it was all left hand on fretless. Wow. A huge inspiration. I better start practicing.... my left hand starting aching just watching him.
