Hey all

Opinion!

I think this guy is a really good bassist, my brother thinks he's pants (i think my brother is pants!, yes we are acting like kids but still!)

What do you think?

ignore the fact he works for BOSS

Its just a demo...A huge percentage of you think slapping and popping is cool so "what is good?" It just sounds like what the sales guy that also plays bass does when he shows you his chops in the showroom.

If nothing else he clearly shows that the SYB sounds awesome but can't track to save its life.

Silly Rabbit, pedals don't have lives.

He knows how to exploit that synth, so I'd say he's good. Is that pants? I forgot Jonesy's usage.

Well the stuff he plays isn't hard but.. the line with the backup track that starts from 0:30 does sound pretty damn cool. The pedals tracking isn't really impressive though.

I reckon he's alright. Nothing paticularly special but he does a good job of demoing that synth!

pants: adj- inadequate, displeasing, or of poor quality. Possible origin: underwear, called "pants" in Britain.

I thought the first clip was okay. The second was just noise really. The third was also okay. Cool pedal. The player was okay, nothing spectacular. This gave me a good idea to try my fretless with my synth pedal. I hope my pedal tracks as good as that Boss.
