Where on earth can I find more of this mans best work?, Absolutley fantastic bass player and back up vocalist, was just watching my copy of the Delicate Sound of Thunder, and I think his name should be brought up more often!, Some of his best moments I've seen include..

(Vocally) - Comfortably Numb 1988

and Money from 1989

Earth Song by MJ is a good example of his fretless playing, also Like a Prayer by Madonna

Definitely search out the 'Toy Matinee' album.... his playing is sublime and the songwriting by the late great Kevin Gilbert (with Pat Leonard) is wonderful....! My favourite by a mile....

Don't know any recordings he played on, but just wanted to voice my appreciation for a great player. His playing on the "Delicate Sound of Thunder" video really grabbed my ear in the early 90s. I especially liked his use of envelope filter and delay.

There's a rough discography on Wiki :

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guy_Pratt#Discography

Being an Aussie, I first heard his playing on the early Icehouse albums and then on Bryan Ferry's Bete Noire album - always tasteful and very inspiring!

Hoping to catch his live comedy show and some interviews, he's out here in Nov/Dec this year. Meant to be a very funny "guy", hehehehe.

Cheers,

EG
