I think I just got tendonitis watching that.

Thatīs NHOP allright. Long time member of the Oscar Peterson Trio. He was one of the true upright virtuosos and had a really beautiful, sweet, singing tone that doesnīt really come across on that video (or at that tempo ).

He and Joe made an 'album' entitled "Chops".
Just the two of them tearing up standards, taking no prisoner's!

Actually, he turned that gig down. He was offered the gig after Ray Brown (the long time member of OP's group) left, but he wanted to stay in Denmark.
