HADRIEN FERAUD to release First album on the 28th of March

http://www.abstractlogix.com/xcart/p...roductid=22152
EXTRACT FROM ABSTRACLOGIX.com (march 2007)

"2007 Release. Hadrien Feraud is the amazing bassist from France that sparked attention worldwide with his phenomenal playing on John McLaughlin's "Industrial Zen". On his solo debut record, he is sure to surprise us all again. John McLaughlin and Bireli Lagrene guest on this album as well. "

EXTRACT FROM BASS PLAYER Magazine (march issue)

TAPPED BY JOHN McLAUGHLIN AS THE NEXT JACO
Pastorius, Frenchman Hadrien Feraud is making a name
for himself. With his knack for calling upon a bewildering
array of voices and effects inspired by all manner of
instrumentalists—particularly keyboardists—Feraud is
no mere disciple. Combining rapid Jaco-esque 16th-note
runs, expressive fretless slides, and sonic landscapes and
textures reminiscent of fellow countryman Jean Michel
Jarre, Feraud’s music is a unique style of chilled out,
smooth-sounding jazz fusion. Hadrien made his first
major concert appearance just five years ago before
going on to win the French national contest Haut les
Basses. With a breakthrough performance on McLaughlin’s
Industrial Zen, which features the tribute “For
Jaco,” the 22-year-old Feraud will release his solo debut,
this spring.

Husband, Mclaughlin and Feraud on stage together? Dear lord!

I've already assured Hadrien I will be buying this album, imo his work on Industrial Zen surpassed that of Matt Garisson and Tony Grey-some feat!

Excellent. I'll be buying a copy. Hopefully there will be a tour date in Toronto or close to it.

U.S. iTunes still doesn't have it as of 10 AM. I have sent Apple a request to get it up there.

Really enjoy that bass jam video on your website. Look forward to hearing more of your playing in the future.
