Haitian Bassist Wester Desamours needs our help

I befriended Wester on Facebook a little over a year ago. His entire country has, of course, been totally and completely devastated by this tragedy. A lot of his musician friends were killed, and while Wester lives up north, and was spared a lot of the personal injury and loss many continue to suffer, his life is still far from easy by our standards.

The fastest way to help is by buying a tune or two from him off iTunes, Amazon, or any of the other places they are for sale. This will go a long way towards helping Wester, and his family and friends, rebuild their shattered lives. If everybody here spent 99˘ buying a tune from Wester, it would really really help. He is such a deserving guy, and a beautiful bass player.

Contact info:

Website: www.westerbasla.com

E-mail: westerbasla@gmail.com

Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/417278745

Twitter: http://twitter.com/Chekebasla

Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/productionsbasla

His album 'First Step' is now available to purchase on:

iTunes U.S.
Rhapsody
eMusic
Amazon MP3
iTunes Australia/N.Z.
iTunes Canada
iTunes UK/European Union
iTunes Japan
iTunes Mexico
Napster
IMVU
Lala
Shockhound
Amie Street
Amazon On Demand
LimeWire Store
Nokia

Please pass this on. He teaches in Haiti, but not many are studying music right now, and the situation remains bleak. He has some articles coming out soon in major online and published bass magazines that I've managed to hook him up with, and that will really help, but he remains an independent artist relying on the sale of his music to get by. Please buy a tune from him.

Sincerely,
Cameron Hood

I opted for track 5 - "Kontantment/Joy". Solo bass albums are not really my thing, but track 5 sounded interesting.

I don't want to use iTunes. Any other option that allows me to buy the album?
