Happy Birthday Fieldy. Keep on rocking hard.
I can't wait to hear the 15-string bass on the next album.

What? Well happy b-day to him. But honestly, 15 Strings? Individual or octaved? like the five he uses now don't rattle against the fretboard enough. Well any ways, Happy birthday to fieldy

(You know, I really can't hate on anybody with thier own sig bass. AND he drives a bentley with two Ampeg 810's in the back seat. I always loved that Ampeg add)

Happy Birthday Fieldy, I would give you a "Mids" knob for your bass but I know you wouldn't use it.

It's octaved. If you have the untitled album, you can look on the inside booklet of the picture of Fieldy hanging on a cross of basses, the vertical bass is a 15-string. It's an Ibanez, see if you can find a picture of the whole thing.

After you've mastered the 5 string I suppose the 15 string is only the next logical step .

Happy berf-day anyway.

I'm pretty sure Jaquo III-X and his guitarist were playing a 15-string bass and 8-string guitar (respectively) like a decade back now. Not exactly the same type of music as Korn though...

Thanks Brian, I remember when I was chillin at Warrior's booth at a NAMM show about two years after I had the first 15 string bass made for me by Warrior (1997) and Fieldy and one of the guitarist from Korn were passing by and they happen to see one of Warriors 15 string basses. They couldn't believe how many strings it had, and I watched how they were so in awe as they counted the strings on the bass. Now it's almost 10 years later and in this interview Fieldy says he's never seen a 15 string bass before he had Ibanez make his

The guitarist that plays with me is DaLawn Simpson and his main guitar is a Ergo 9 string.

Sorry for misspelling Jauqo- it's instinct to try to put a "u" after a "q"

I talked to them and they said that they didn’t think anybody has ever done that in the history of music. So I thought, “Well, make me one then!” So they put it together and made me one. I can’t wait. I’ve got to try and fit it in somewhere. Everyone’s asking about it, so I’m going to have to play it on the next Korn album.
does it surprise you that he would say that?

Tom Peterson from Cheap Trick had three 18 string basses made for him in the 80's so what's the big deal? The next logical step would be a 21 stringer. Upright. Clickity clack!

I don't understand why he doesn't like mids... It makes no sense.
