This video is a 1985 performance of "Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick" by Ian Dury & The Blockheads. I'm pretty sure the bassist is Norman Watt-Roy. The video mostly shows him during the first minute or so. He be working real hard, like risk-of-an-aneurysm hard.

this is the kind of song hwere you need a lot of stamina just because it is in 16th all the way but he doesn't do some accrobatic on the fretboard, that save him.

Thanks Old Dog, I forgot how funny looking Ian Dury is with that giant head and tiny body But, damn that was a hard working band, from sax to bass. Sweet.
